Suburban Installers Offers the Following:
Well Drilling
Rotary well drilling is a process in which an oversized hole is drilled using fresh water in combination with drill mud. First, the hole is drilled until a water-bearing layer is found. Then, a casing is installed. At this time, the well can be gravel packed. This process involves dumping bagged material down the oversized hole along side the casing. This helps to improve water flow, filter out the fine sands, and aids in developing the well.  Next, a screen is installed into the casing and set. We use stainless steel screens. The screen is one piece that shouldn't be "skimped" on. The screen allows the water to flow into the well. Typically, we try to put two 4' long screens into every well to maximize flow. The well is then developed with air to establish a flow rate and form. When this is achieved, the well is the pressure grouted. The process uses bentonite to seal up the oversized hole to the well casing. This prevents any ground containment from entering the water source, and this completes the drilling of the well.

We use a Versa-Drill rotary well rig to find water. This method provides you with a non-corrosive PVC well. A typical well is 5" PVC, but we do offer bigger sizes, if needed. Quality starts deep in the ground, and it goes all the way into your home. We use only the highest quality items and equipment.

When shopping for a well driller, it is always best to get an itemized list of what your getting, in addition to the price per foot. Since you can only see a couple of items in the entire well system, there is a lot of trust put in the well driller to give you what you paid for. Make sure you check around and get a reputable driller that will do honest work. Suburban Installers can handle the complete installation of your water system.  From drilling the well, installing the pump, plumbing into the house to the storage tank, to installing a water treatment system, we do it all.      Our latest and greatest mud-rotary drilling method provides you with a non-corrosive PVC well. A PVC well consists of a PVC well casing and PVC or Stainless Steel well screen. PVC drop pipe, PVC coated wire, all brass pitless adapter, a fiberglass non-corrosive storage tank, a submersible pump (almost all PVC except for the stainless steel motor and pump shell), and ALL brass and copper fittings are used on the hook-up. This is a must because you don’t want a fitting to fail later on leaving you with floods or worst, WITHOUT WATER. By using this method, we feel that most of the electrolytic and corrosive problems are placed well under control.
